Visit the Fast Food Farm in Gramercy, LA with Louisiana Ag in the Classroom for an immersive, agri-educational STEAgM experience this summer.


WHO:
Open to all Louisiana pre-K – 12th grade educators.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 10 from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: Fast Food Farm, 2042 North Golden Grove Road, Gramercy, LA 70052. The Fast Food Farm is a nonprofit, agri-educational farm in St. James Parish teaching the importance of agriculture for the benefit of everyone.

WHAT: Louisiana Ag in the Classroom is sponsoring a FREE immersive, agri-educational STEAgM opportunity at the Fast Food Farm where Louisiana pre-K – 12th grade educators will learn how to use agriculture to teach Louisiana Student Standards.

Participants will receive free materials to use in their classrooms. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

There will be special drawings for gift cards and door prizes. The first 20 educators to register and attend will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card (two will be awarded)!

This is an educator-only event—no children please, and dress comfortably, as this is an outdoor venue.

Certificates for Continuing Learning Units (CLUs) will be provided; however, AITC cannot guarantee that local education agencies or other organizations will accept these CLUs for credit.
