Louisiana Ag Week — March 23-27, 2026
Louisiana Ag Week celebrates the contributions of agriculture to our everyday lives. The goal of Louisiana Ag Week is to share how food and fiber products are produced, promote the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy, and appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant and affordable products. Together, let's cultivate a deeper understanding, appreciation, and vibrant future for Louisiana agriculture.
From Field to Frame Photo Contest
Participate in Louisiana Ag Week by competing in a photo contest. High school students are invited to share their vision of modern agriculture by submitting a creative and engaging photograph that showcases the people, processes or commodities of Louisiana agriculture.
WHO?
Students who are currently in 9th through 12th grade may submit a photograph.
WHAT?
Capture an original creative and engaging photograph that showcases the people, processes or commodities of Louisiana agriculture.
Submit your original photograph and a brief description of how the photograph showcases Louisiana agriculture; include the date and location the photo was taken.
Photo Requirements:
All photos must be taken by the contestant with a digital camera or smartphone.
Format must be .jpeg or.jpg with a minimum of 300psi. Any size ratio, except for panoramic, is acceptable.
All entries will become property of Louisiana Farm Bureau/Louisiana Ag in the Classroom.
One entry per person will be accepted.
Copyright laws must be followed.
Photography of AI generated photographs are not permitted.
Color and monochrome/grayscale photos are allowed.
Slight computer enhancements are allowed, such as cropping, minor adjustments of lighting and red eye reduction; however, substantially altered photography, such as applying design styles or using computer graphics will disqualify an entry.
Any person depicted in the photo must have granted permission to be portrayed.
WHEN?
Entries must be received by February 20, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. CST.
HOW?
All entries must be submitted using the JotForm application. Entries will not be accepted in any other form. Entries must be submitted by February 20, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. CST.
Upon submission, JotForm will send an email that must be signed by you and your parent or guardian. Entries are not considered complete until the signed form is uploaded to your JotForm submission.
WHY?
Winners will be announced during Louisiana Ag Week. A panel of judges will decide the winners. Winning videos will be featured on the website and social media. Cash prizes will be awarded.
Awards:
Cash prizes will be awarded for first ($100), second ($50) and third ($25) places.
